PARKER ELLS

This projects location was between 36th and 37th street and Filbert Street.  Out of a few options I chose the Academic Building located on the corner of 36th and Filbert.  I decided my end goal was to focus on a connection with the surrounding Lancaster and Powelton community rather than Drexel.  My buildings program catered to older residence of the community to furthering their education along with Drexel students attending the University.  This seamed an obvious choice as the site starts to reach deeper into less populated student areas and connecting Drexel with its surrounding community.  In this project I really learned how to render in Revit which is new software we just started to learn about.  It helped me better understand and show the interior and exterior of my building in an accurate and aesthetic way.
